Snapshot in time: Winter (and virtual Christmas card swap)

Hi guys! Today I’m going to do what I’m calling a “snapshot in time”, which is basically a description of a moment in time from my imagination that I describe. I hope to do more in the future.

The crystalline flakes float down, like powdered sugar coating the ground. Each footprint you leave will soon be covered, erasing all evidence that you were there . The cold, brusque wind freezes your cheeks, turning them a rosy shade of pink. You spin around, snowflakes falling on your face, and gaze at the snow covered trees hanging icicles. You come in and shake off the snow, frozen but rejuvenated by the snow. A cup of tea is soon sitting in your hand, the sweet smell wafting up to your nose. A blanket warms your legs, and you hold a book in your hand, soft pages whispering in the air.

Here’s my card for the virtual Christmas card swap by Build a Bears Furever. I did a combo for both blogs.

I hope you have a great holiday season!
