Hi guys! Today I’m going to do a book review of Quiet Power: The Secret Strengths of Introverted Kids by Susan Cain. Side note: I’m actually out of town and wrote this a couple of days ago…the wonders of scheduled posts!

This book is eye opening for introverts and extroverts alike. It covers some of the struggles of introverts and how being introverted is not a bad thing.
Covering topics like school, hobbies, family life, and friendship, this book is empowering and helps people who are introverts realize many good things about themselves, and helps extroverts understand their peers better. For me personally, it helped me understand why I do some things, and realize that being introverted is not the same as being shy.
Just because you’re an introvert doesn’t mean that you should never be around other people or never be in the spotlight. This book also discusses ways to recharge your batteries and overcome your fears while not pushing yourself too much.
Are you an introvert? Have you read this book? Let’s talk in the comments!
