Questions:
Who is your all-time favorite book character?
This is a hard one! I’ll have to say one of my favorites is Four from Divergent, though I love many characters.
If you were stranded on a desert island, which book would you take with you? (Survival books do not count)
Probably In Another Time by Caroline Roach. I’ve reread it twice already, and it was touching each time, and really encouraging as well.
What’s your most unpopular book opinion?
I’m not interested in reading the Harry Potter series, and I generally don’t like fantasy (though there are some that I like).
What’s your weirdest bookish habit?
I have the tendency to twist myself into awkward positions while reading. They’re comfortable to me, but probably wouldn’t be for anyone else.
What character would you bring to a family event as your fake partner?
Umm I don’t date, but Thorne from The Lunar Chronicles. I love his personality (though I would die if we were actually dating) and he has a way of charming everyone he meets, which would be helpful.
What made you decide to start a book blog?
I love books (obviously), and I also love to talk about books. It’s fun to create a community where I can talk about books, especially when it can be hard to find people to do that with in person.
What about reading and books do you love the most?
Pretty much everything, but I love the feeling and connection you get while reading, the emotional attachment to the character and the immersion into the plot (if the book is written well).
What is your field of study/desired profession/current profession?
I want to be a Marine Biologist.
What are some book recommendations that became your favorites/obsessions?
Divergent by Veronica Roth, The Lunar Chronicles by Marissa Meyer, and The Maze Runner by James Dashner.
What is the book you shove down everyone’s throat?
Pretty much any Agatha Christie book that I’ve read (they’re so underrated). Most people that I know don’t like mysteries, or aren’t interested, so not many people take my recommendations.

I read my first-ever Agatha Christie book a few days ago – The ABC Murders, and absolutely loved it!

Four!! I love him so much – definitely one of my favourite characters in YA. I would also definitely bring Thorne to family dinner. He would charm everyone, that’s for sure lol. I’ve been wanting to get into more Agatha Christie books. And Then There Were None is one of my favourite books ever and I’ve read a couple others, but I want to read more. I loved reading your answers! – Amber
