The Rip it or Ship it Book Tag

Hi guys! Today I’m going to do the Rip it or Ship it Book Tag. I was tagged by Riddhi @ Whispering Stories, and I thought this tag was the perfect way to end my character discussion.

I created two lists of characters that I liked and had my sister create completely random pairs. She only knows one of the characters from the list, and she hasn’t even read the book. Apparently she was “Literally only doing it because of the names.” We’ll see how this turns out. She even made ship names.

Grayson from The Inheritance Games and Cee from The Ones We’re Meant to Find

No. Just no. Grayson is such a mood, and Cee is a complete optimist, and I feel like in the end, Cee would try to change Grayson and he wouldn’t go for it and eventually end up hurting her in the end. Grayson and Kasey might have worked (probably not for long), but definitely not Cee.

Verdict: Rip

Sunken ship name: Graycee

Jameson from The Inheritance Games and Nova from Renegades

I don’t know. I think Jameson is too sarcastic and complicated for Nova. She needs someone who can be more serious, and I don’t think Jameson can do that. They could be friends, though. Maybe. She might end up killing him in the end, but who knows.

Verdict: Rip

Sunken ship name: Java (I have to admit, I almost shipped them just because of the name)

Khalid from The Wrath and the Dawn and Zafira from We Hunt the Flame

I think they could work. Though they’re both semi-serious, Zafira has another quality to her that adds dimension and humor. I think that Zafira’s spunkyness would cut through any of Khalid’s serous moments. Plus, they’d be an epic power couple.

Verdict: Ship

Ship name: Zalid (not the best, but we’ll go with it).

Altair from We Hunt the Flame and Ximena from Woven in Moonlight

They would be hilarious! They’re both funny on their own, Altair with his slightly cynical comments, and Ximena with her brash counter cultural ways, but together, they’d be super popular and the talk of the crowd.

Verdict: Ship

Ship Name: Alna (I don’t know where she got this one).

Nasir from We Hunt the Flame and Nina from Six of Crows

I feel like they would be an interesting ship. They probably would work, because although Nasir’s somewhat stoic, he has a lot of personality when you get to know him. Nina has plenty of personality for several people, and I think that would balance it out.

Verdict: Ship

Ship name: Nana (this one just cracked me up)

I had a fun time doing this post. All of the ships were very unexpected, and it was tough making some of those decisions. What are some of your opinions on these ships? Let me know in the comments!
