The Bookish Snob Tag

Hi guys! I realized that I haven’t done a tag in a while, and I saw this one at Evin’s blog A Curly Sue’s Ramblings and it looked fun.

ADAPTATION SNOB: Do you always read the book before watching the film/ TV show?

Yes. To this day, I haven’t read a book before watching the movie/TV show. It’s like a cardinal rule in my life.

FORMAT SNOBYou can only choose 1 format in which to read books for the rest of your life. Which one do you choose: physical books, eBooks, or audio books?

Physical books. Although I do occasionally enjoy listening to audio books, and I read eBooks when necessary, but so much screen time stresses my eyes out.

GENRE SNOB: You have to ditch one genre – never to be read again for the rest of your life. Which one do you ditch?

Comedy. I hate cheesy, sappy books so much. I rant about it all the time. They’re just ridiculous (sorry to any comedy fans out there, I’m just stating my opinion).

UBER GENRE SNOB: You can only choose to read from one genre for the rest of your life. Which genre do you choose?

This is so hard! I guess Dystopian? Either that or Sci Fi or Mystery.

COMMUNITY SNOB: Which genre do you think receives the most snobbery from the bookish community?

Honestly, YA. There are so many types of YA books, and I feel like people sometimes generalize YA books, instead of appreciating the different types/styles.

I hope you enjoyed this tag. I really liked doing it. I’ll leave this tag open. What are your opinions on these questions? Have you done this tag? Comment down below!
